Job DescriptionJob Description

SCOPE
The stewarding supervisor will be responsible in ensuring a superior standard for all flatware, tableware and kitchen equipment in support of our Culinary and Banquet teams. Supervisor is responsible in assisting Stewarding Manager to enforce the highest possible cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food processing facilities, as well as the operating equipment.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cleaning all China, Silverware, Glassware, Etc. ensuring clean and safe equipment for our guests.
  • Reviews and reinforces operating procedures with their associates.
  • Support Executive Steward in equipment inventory.
  • Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and adhere to policies and procedures.
  • Conducts daily meetings with staff to discuss and resolve any operation concerns.
  • Assist with inventory and storage of food and beverage equipment.
  • Coordinate and supervise efficient work procedures and schedules.
  • Maintaining all kitchen floors.
  • Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in all kitchen coolers & freezers.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma

Skills:

  • Ability to read and follow instructions
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to delegate tasks and assigning responsibilities to their team.
  • Ability to manage a team of other stewards.
