Job DescriptionJob Description

Reporting to the Director, HRIS and Payroll, the Senior Payroll Analyst will oversee and supervise the organization's payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and assists with the accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll.
    • Provider Payroll experience strongly preferred
  • Prepares pre and post processing payroll and timekeeping reports and distributes to managers for reconciliation and approval
  • Audit/reconcile time and attendance data for staff and physicians.
  • Assists with identifying payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information and responding to inquiries via email or phone.
  • Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes while sharing that information with the combined Payroll/HRIS Team to ensure all team members stay up to date with UKG/Dimensions processes and updates
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping sensitive information confidential.
  • Contributes to the combined Payroll and HRIS Team with bringing in past knowledge and being agile.
  • Assist with training new Payroll and HRIS specialists.
  • Historical correction of timecards.
  • Oversee both the shared Payroll and HRIS inboxes.
  • Assist with optimizing both Payroll and Dimensions (to include Core updates as required)
  • Be the SME for loading new hires due to Mergers, Acquisitions and Joint Venture

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Payroll
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with human resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
  • Ability to keep information confidential.
  • Proficient with payroll software, UKG/UltiPro/Ultimate Software/Dimensions required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
