The Senior Web UX Designer will lead UX initiatives, conduct user research, create wireframes and prototypes, and advocate for best practices in user-centered design. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centric digital experiences.

You will:

  • Lead UX strategy by developing and executing the UX strategy for the web-based projects, aligning design solutions with business objectives and user needs.
  • Create flow diagrams, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups that are easily understood by all stakeholders involved in the project.
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to translate wireframes and prototypes into visually stunning and functional user interfaces that adhere to brand guidelines and design standards.
  • Conduct user research, and usability testing, to gain insights into user behavior, preferences and pain points.
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing results, and stakeholder input to continuously improve the user experience
  • Create and maintain UX documentation, including user journeys, and design specifications, to ensure clarity and consistency throughout the design process
  • Contribute to the guidelines and patterns in our design systems.

You have:

  • 6+ years professional experience as a UX designer
  • BS/BA in UX design, HCI, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with user research and how to put insights from research into your designs
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as: Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with design systems and component libraries
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices
  • The ability to respond thoughtfully to design critiques
  • Comfort managing projects on your own

Your portfolio shows:

  • Strong attention to detail through refined designs that are release ready.

Salary Range: $130-140K

In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
