Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in residential, sober living, or supportive living settings.
  • Prior management experience.
General Responsibilities:
  • Plans, organizes, and controls overall functions of the facility in accordance with Policies and Procedures and Corporate Standards of Care and Policies.
  • Knows and abides by the general provisions of 42 CFR Part 2, “Confidentiality of Drug and Alcohol Abuse Patient Records,” and 45 CFR “Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.”
Essential Functions:
  1. Supervise and direct all facility affairs.
  2. Carry out all policies established by the Governing Board and any other Corporate directives.
  3. Develop and submit a plan of organization of the personnel to the CEO for approval.
  4. Prepare an annual budget, showing the budgeted revenue and expenses.
  5. Select, employ, control, and discharge all employees and maintain personnel policies of the facility.
  6. Prepare an annual facility marketing plan; revise quarterly, and supervise plan implementation and community marketing activities along with Corporate marketing strategies.
  7. Keep all physical properties in good repair and operating condition.
  8. Supervise all business affairs and ensure that all revenues are collected, and the costs of operations are in line with the budget.
  9. Ensure the facility complies with all requirements of supervisory agencies or third-party payers.
  10. Prepare the Facility for JCAHO and Mental Health Surveys.
  11. Coordinate with the Treatment Director and other Department Managers to establish and maintain effective communication between referral sources and the Facility.
  12. Work with clinical staff and all others rendering professional services to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
  13. Carry out individual marketing and public relations activities.
  14. Submit monthly reports to the CEO showing the clinical services and financial activities of the facility and any special reports required by the Board.
  15. Responsible for the appointment of individuals and the creation of committees to facilitate the implementation and ongoing operation of clinical review and evaluation activities.
  16. Monitor and assess the operations of the Performance Improvement Committee and make recommendations to ensure its proper functioning.
  17. Other duties as assigned by the CEO.
