Job DescriptionJob DescriptionFacilities Supervisor
As the supervisor of facilities services, you will be responsible for leading teams and running small projects both within the MarSell Wellness Center (MWC) sites. This will involve collaborating with Business Unit Leaders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard. Your role will be critical in ensuring that projects are completed successfully and that our facilities are maintained to a high standard.

Under the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of facilities services, as well as develop and supervise support staff. This position is a hands-on, working supervisor position, charged with providing efficient and cost-effective facilities operations and highly responsive internal excellent customer service. This position will support and travel to eight sites across southern California.

Essential Functions:
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules with regional Directors.
  • Supervise facilities services including mail services, move services, visitor services, offsite storage, office supplies, Service Desk and telephone operator services and transportation demand management.
  • Act as the primary technical resource for maintenance and operations, including troubleshooting and emergency repairs.
  • Develop, improve and maintain key processes and procedures, tools, metrics and systems for facility operations and work management.
  • Build, maintain, refurbish, and repair office equipment.

  • Perform repairs for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and facility maintenance.
  • Manage work orders, projects, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure facility compliance through regular inspections.
  • Supervise facility, security, and supplier teams.
  • Coordinate contractor work related to production equipment and facility repairs.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • ​​​​​​Demonstrated ability in leading maintenance teams and projects.
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and troubleshooting systems.
  • Strong business acumen and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop alternative solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Bilingual English/ Spanish preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management.
  • Strong knowledge of facility maintenance best practices, safety regulations, and security protocols.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.
  • Certification in facility management or related field is a plus.
  • Ability to be on call for off hour emergencies related to security and facilities.
Other Requirements:
  • An approved background check (DOJ) and fingerprint analysis LiveScan
