We are seeking a Junior Management Analyst to provide support to the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Military Training Facility Department (MTFD). This position will support the capture and creation of technical requirements from functional specifications for agile development projects, analyze and document client requirements and business processes, and validate requirements, interface, and other module requirements.

Position Location: Falls Church, VA.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in efforts related to assessing the validated request for training, cost-effectiveness of training, and the effect of training on medical outcomes, trainee learning, and patient safety.
  • Assist MTFD with the coordination of requirements briefings, governance briefings, and project tracking.
  • Assist MTFD with identifying learning needs based on Risk Management Data, Patient Safety Data, NOTAMs, Joint Trauma Surgeon (JTS), and other applicable DoD regulatory and/or readiness requirements.
  • Assist MTFD to implement training requirements based upon these findings.
  • Provide support to MTFD to execute activities, including advise and support Network in MTF education and training requirements and data collection.
  • Provide support to the Network in making data collection and education and training choices based on appropriate requirements and goals.
  • Utilize the MTFD dashboard to provide pertinent, reportable metrics and data from the MTF and/or Network level to MTFD leadership.
  • Other support duties as needed/directed.

Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5-10 years’ experience as a management consultant and program management experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the operations of Military Treatment Facilities.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
  • Must possess business and technical knowledge to review workflow, documentation and user surveys, and analyze data to identify a solution to a business issue.
  • Experience formulating and reviewing task plans and deliverable items while serving in or supporting the federal government.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience supporting DHA
