Responsibilities

  • Account Reconciliations
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Month End Schedule preparation
  • Fixed Asset Schedule – updates and invoice backup
  • Construction in Process Schedule – updates and invoice backup
  • Maintain Lease Vehicle & Fuel schedules
  • Assist with Fiscal Year End audit preparation
  • Remote bank deposits
  • Sales Tax Returns – Multiple States
  • Review of Labor Rates
  • Review of Standard vs Current Costs
  • Review of Operational Costs and Rates
  • Maintain accuracy of item standard costs
  • Assist Accounting Manager with projects as needed
  • Provide vacation coverage for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable


Education and Experience

  • Associate Degree in Accounting required.
  • At least two years of experience working in an accounting environment.


Knowledge and skills

  • Experience with basic accounting and financial practices.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiar with an ERP software system.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Detail oriented and well organized.
  • Strong team player.
  • Comfortability around manufacturing floors
  • Understanding of Labor Rates, Overhead Rates, Burden Rates, Operational Routings
  • Understanding of Bills of Materials
