Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer
Shift: Days, 8a-4:30p, 8x5, 40hrs per week, M-F, w/ rotating call during the week & weekends
Length: 13 Weeks
Less than 1 weekday evening per week and the Sat/Sun rotation usually equates to every 5 weeks of rotating.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year experience working solely w/ adult echocardiography required
  • BLS
  • ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer- Adult (RDCS- Adult) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) required
  • Teaching Hospital Experience preferred
  • Community Hospital Experience preferred
  • Trauma Level I Experience preferred
Adult & geriatric patientsPerforms echocardiograms at bedside when necessaryNo Locals
Other Details:

13 wks | BLS required | ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer- Adult (RDCS- Adult) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) required at time of submittal | Min 1 yr exp working solely w/ adult echocardiography required | Hours are 0 w/ rotating call during the week & weekends | Adult & geriatric patients | Performs echocardiograms at bedside when necessary | NO LOCALS
Equipment Used: For transthoracic echo, GE s70 and GE E95 machines. For Transesophageal echo, GE E95 and Philips Epiq machines.
Schedule is Mon through Friday is 08:00-16:30. Our techs rotate call. Less than 1 weekday evening per week and the Sat/Sun rotation usually equates to every 5 weeks of rotating.
We are a very busy facility and are a cardiac research facility that extensively practices structural heart procedures.
Interviews will be conducted ASAP.
