Shift: Days / 7a-5p, 10x4, 40 hours per week, weekends and holiday as needed by the unit



Length: 13 weeks

Will be required to be in call rotation



Requirements:

  • 2 Years’ Experience
  • Formal Education and Training: Graduate from a School of Surgical Technology or equivalent training as a Surgical Technician in the Armed Forces with five years of experience preferred
  • Experience applying customer service behaviors and communication skills 
  • Recent experience as an Operating Room Technician preferred
  • Must possess necessary technical skills and interest in biological care; basic understanding of interpersonal and health concepts.
  • BCLS
  • Must be Certified Certification as Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) required 
  • Epic experience
