PRN Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN)

Your Responsibilities As a Behavioral Health RN

As a PRN RN, you’ll play a crucial role in meeting patients’ needs, providing care, and supporting their behavioral health journey by:

  • Performing assessments to identify physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs.
  • Collaborating with the Interdisciplinary Team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Making initial evaluations and revisiting plans as patient needs evolve.
  • Communicating changes in patient conditions to the Clinical Supervisor and other team members.
  • Educating patients and families on behavioral health philosophies and symptom management.
  • Supervising and documenting the work of Behavioral Health Aides and LPNs.
  • Offering compassionate support during end-of-life care, including bereavement assessments.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking adaptable, compassionate nurses who are ready to make a difference on a PRN basis. Ideal candidates will have:

  • A current, unrestricted state RN license.
  • 1+ years of clinical nursing experience.
  • A dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
  • Willingness to travel within the branch/office coverage area.
  • An Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
  • Previous experience in Home Health, Hospice, or with Homecare HomeBase (preferred).
