Kelly is seeking a Bookkeeper to work with our Post Falls-based client, a leading manufacturer, on a temp-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity to step foot into a successful small business with over 40 years of expertise
The Bookkeeper will initially focus on AP/AR tasks while covering for a maternity leave. If hired on, the role would be more focused on HR duties.
Specifically, the Bookkeeper will:
\t- Manage all aspects of the accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collections
\t - Reconcile AP/AR accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
\t - Maintain organized financial records and ensure data accuracy in accounting systems
\t - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to AP/AR
\t - Collaborate with vendors and clients to address payment-related queries and concerns
\t - Administer HR-related tasks such as onboarding, benefits enrollment, and maintaining employee records
\t - Support payroll processes by ensuring timely and accurate submission of data
\t - Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and benefits
\t - Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices
\t - Collaborate with management to improve and implement efficient processes
\t - Contribute to cross-functional projects as needed
Qualifications:
\t- 3+ years of experience in AP/AR and HR
\t - Proficiency in accounting and HR software (e.g. Sage50, Rippling)
\t - Strong knowledge of labor laws and accounting principles
\t - Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
\t - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
\t - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
\t - Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
