Kelly Services has partnered with a premier company in the housing industry to hire a Master Data Specialist for their team. The primary focus of the Master Data Specialist is to support operations and ensure data integrity within the organization while adhering to master data management guidelines. This individual will perform and maintain Supplier, Customer, and General Ledger account master data records in Microsoft Navision/Oracle, including updates and various other activities for sites serviced by the Shared Services team in Troy, MI. Responsibilities:

  • \t
  • Create, update, and maintain master data records in ERP systems timely and accurately
    \t
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all systems and databases
    \t
  • Enforce Master Data Management governance policies, procedures, and standards
    \t
  • Complete regular data reconciliations to identify and correct discrepancies
    \t
  • Work closely with IT, business units, and project teams to understand data requirements, drive standardization across Shared Services by optimizing processes and implementing best practices
    \t
  • Ensure thorough documentation of key tasks and processes
    \t
  • Ensure all required SOX controls are followed throughout the end-to-end process and support internal/external audits
    \t
  • Support the implementation and ongoing optimization of Oracle Fusion Cloud master data management modules
    \t
  • Support ad hoc requests from various teams, along with other master data roles, when required


Qualifications:


  • \t
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Business Administration, or any related field
    \t
  • 3-5 years of experience in Vendor Maintenance/Master Data Management or related fields
    \t
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance standards
    \t
  • Ability to multi-task, well-organized and a self-starter
    \t
  • Detail-oriented, professional attitude, reliable
    \t
  • Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving skills
    \t
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
    \t
  • Microsoft Office skills with particular emphasis on demonstrated proficiency in Excel
    \t
  • Experience with ERP systems (particularly Microsoft Navision and Oracle) is a plus
    \t
  • Experience with Master Data and the Shared Service Environment is a plus
