Job Description

Are you an experienced Perioperative Nurse looking for a leadership role in a dynamic and community-focused hospital? A highly reputable 20+ bed hospital near Northern Coastal Maine is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic RN Perioperative Manager to join their team

The RN Perioperative Manager will be at the forefront of surgical services, ensuring that operating rooms run smoothly and efficiently. The OR Nurse Manager will lead a team of skilled Circulator RNs, Scrub techs, and other perioperative staff while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. The RN Perioperative Manager will implement and monitor compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards while collaborating with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals 

RN Perioperative Manager Requirements:

  1. Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred or must be willing to obtain within two years of hire.
  2. Minimum of three years of clinical experience in Perioperative Nursing.
  3. Knowledge of Regulatory and Professional Standards in the Perioperative Department and the ability to function in all aspects of the Operating Room.
  4. Must hold licensure in the State of Maine as a Registered Nurse.
  5. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required or must be obtained within six months of hire.
