Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm

Job Type:  temp-to-hire (contract-to-perm) OR potentially direct-hire (permanent)

Pay Range:

- Associate (0 years experience): $19-21/hour  

- Necropsy Technician (1+ years experience): $23-25/hour  

- Senior Technician (3+ years experience): $28-29/hour

Essential Functions:

We’re seeking a Necropsy Technician to perform animal necropsy procedures in compliance with GLP, USDA, and AAALAC standards. Ideal candidates will have experience with laboratory animals or veterinary clinical work.

Location: Eagan, MN  

Responsibilities:

- Perform necropsy procedures (euthanasia, dissection, tissue/blood collection).  

- Ensure humane animal handling.  

- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues.  

- Review and maintain accurate lab documentation.  

- Assist with specialized procedures and SOP updates.  

- Cross-train in histology, clinical pathology, and other activities.  

- Maintain study records and support team goals.  

- May require weekend/holiday/overtime work.

Qualifications:

- 1+ years of surgical and/or necropsy experience (laboratory animal experience is preferred, but veterinary clinic experience will qualify).  

- Associate’s degree in Animal Science or related field is preferred. Any science related AS or BS will be considered favorable.

- Knowledge of GLP/GMP standards is preferred.
