Field Technician (Peoria, IL)   Feldco – Windows, Siding, Doors, and Roofing, a Top Workplace recognized by the Chicago Tribune, is seeking driven Field Technicians to join our growing team in Peoria With over 45 years of success in making home improvement projects a breeze for homeowners, we’re passionate about building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional results.     ​What You'll Do:
  • Visit customer homes to take precise measurements for windows, doors, siding, and roofing installations. Use your keen eye for detail to ensure perfect fits every time.
  • Assist customers by addressing issues like drafty windows or crooked frames with professionalism. You’ll schedule and manage appointments efficiently using our tech-savvy tablet system.
  • Take ownership of purchasing materials for projects to ensure everything’s ready for installation.
  • Confirm contract details to guarantee customer satisfaction and seamless service.
  • Perform inspections post-installation to maintain the high-quality standards Feldco is known for.
  • With a passion for top-notch customer service, you’ll engage and exceed customer expectations every step of the way.
What We're Looking For:
  • 2+ years in home construction projects is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills and a desire to leave every customer happy.
  • Precision is key in taking measurements and performing service work.
  • Comfortable using tablets for scheduling and order entry.
  • Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 100 lbs. as needed and perform work from ladders.
  • Willingness to work some evenings and Saturdays to meet the needs of our customers.
