The role involves conducting thorough examinations of roofs, identifying defects, verifying compliance with codes and standards, and providing detailed reports to stakeholders.Major Roles and Responsibilities:The roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Conduct Roof Inspections: Perform on-site inspections of roofs at various stages of installation or repair. Evaluate the quality of workmanship and materials used. Identify any deviations from approved plans or industry standards.Compliance Verification: Ensure that roofing projects comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards. Confirm that all necessary permits and approvals have been obtained.Defect Identification: Detect and document any defects, deficiencies, or potential issues with roofing systems. Provide recommendations for corrective action.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspections, including photographs, measurements, and notes. Generate comprehensive reports summarizing findings, observations, and recommendations.Communication and Coordination: Liaise with contractors, builders, and project managers to address issues and provide guidance on compliance.
