The HR Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative support in all aspects of Human Resources. The role involves coordinating various HR processes, compiling employee information, and applying extensive HR knowledge to anticipate and address business needs. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the implementation of multiple HR processes and compile employee information.

Follow a variety of defined procedures within functional disciplines such as benefits, compensation, staffing, employee relations, and operations.

Serve as the main employee contact for subjects including payroll, benefits, disability, and other HR-related day-to-day questions and issues.

Support the external staffing process for salary and hourly employees, including administering testing and scheduling interviews.

Manage the temporary staffing process.

Coordinate various company events throughout the year, such as the employee picnic and recognition events.

Participate as an active member of the site Health and Wellness Team.

Provide work direction, guidance, and training to co-workers or new employees mainly on routine supporting duties.

Qualifications

A minimum of a secondary/high school degree or equivalent education is required.

A technical/vocational/trade school degree (2-3 years after high school) in the appropriate/applicable field is preferred.

A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant working experience is normally required.

Workday experience is highly desired.

Good coordinating, analytical, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal communication skills.

Demonstrates basic leadership skills.

Broad knowledge of computer programs and corporate systems relevant to the assigned area of responsibility.
