UT Health East Texas is growing and hiring a board-certified/eligible General Neurologist (outpatient) to join our Neurological Institute clinical faculty team in beautiful Tyler, Texas. With our new neurology residency training program starting in 2024, the opportunity to teach and work with residents is available based on preference. Experienced and graduating neurologists skilled in EEG and EMG/NCU are encouraged to apply

About this Neurologist Job Opening:

  • Join a team of 6 Neurologists (including Neuro-Hospitalists and Movement Disorder), 3 Nurse Practitioners, and Support Staff
  • High patient volume due to expanding practice
  • 95% outpatient, 5% inpatient
  • Daily Patient Load: 12-18 new and follow-up mix per day (ages 18+ up)
  • Monday-Friday (8 a.m.-5 p.m.)
  • Rotating Call
  • Optional opportunity to teach and work with residents available

Minimum Qualifications:

  • ABPN bc/be as Neurologist
  • Residency-Trained in Neurology
  • EEG and EMG/NCU skills are preferred
  • Experienced and graduating neurology residents are encouraged to apply
