Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner

- Clinical Role:
- Full-time, Monday-Friday, 3-5 days per week, no weekends or holidays
- Occasional call based on practice needs
- Manage daily clinic schedule
- Assist with acute needs in infusion clinic. Infusion clinic acute needs coverage on rotating basis
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for Hematology/Oncology patients
- Primarily outpatient, ability to do inpatient rounding if experienced
- 10-15 clinic patients/day
- Clinical documentation skills required, experience in Cerner preferred
- Experience with complex decision-making
- Ability to work independently and see new patients
- Provider must have special interest in Hematology/Oncology and a commitment to continuous education
- Hematology/Medical Oncology NP work experience preferred, 2+ years of ambulatory practice or acute care NP work experience required (not including RN or training experience)
- This is a permanent position that may require residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required. To be discussed at interview
