Project Manager Landscape Architect

The Role: We seek a talented and experienced Project Manager to work at our Miami studios. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing high-end residential and commercial landscape projects, demonstrating expertise in every phase from design to execution. Your role will involve overseeing project quality, guiding the design process, and ensuring that every detail meets our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from conception to completion, including schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and administration.
- Collaborate closely with the Studio Director to advance project goals and milestones.
- Prepare and oversee drawing sets, presentation packages, and construction details.
- Conduct thorough site research, reviews, and analyses.
- Manage technical and administrative tasks such as cost estimates and tabulations.
- Facilitate and participate in project meetings and on-site construction observations, providing detailed follow-up documentation.
- Translate initial design concepts through all phases, ensuring coherence and quality.
- Represent our firm at high-profile meetings and client interactions.
- Collaborate with management to define and track project schedules, deliverables, and fees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture preferred.
- At least two years of progressive experience in a landscape architecture firm.
- Proven leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other computer-aided design tools; experience with Adobe Creative Suite and 3-D modeling programs (SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion) is a plus.
- Strong skills in conceptual design, construction documents, and hand sketching.
- Expertise in interpreting professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to client, management, and consultant questions.
