Accounts Payable Clerk Job Description: We are looking for a reliable and dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to handle the day-to-day processing of invoices and payments. Your role will involve maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling statements, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate payments.
Accounts Payable Clerk Responsibilities:
- Process invoices accurately and efficiently
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure timely payments to vendors
- Collaborate with internal departments to address payment-related inquiries
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of financial transactions
Accounts Payable Clerk Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting is a plus
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role
- Familiarity with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well in a team environment
