Job Overview:We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven Sales Director to lead our sales team in driving new business opportunities and nurturing key client relationships. As Sales Director, you will be instrumental in developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to accelerate growth, elevate client satisfaction, and enhance our position as a leader in the marketing industry.
You will oversee the sales pipeline, lead a talented sales team, and collaborate closely with marketing and client success teams to develop customized solutions for clients. This is a high-impact, leadership role that offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our firm.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with our growth goals and brand vision, targeting key markets, verticals, and potential clients.
- Sales Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture. Provide ongoing coaching and development to ensure individual and team success.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Building: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivating strong relationships with prospective clients. Work closely with existing clients to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Sales Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze sales metrics and KPIs, making data-driven adjustments to optimize team performance and ensure targets are consistently met or exceeded.
- Collaboration with Marketing & Delivery Teams: Work closely with our marketing and delivery teams to align sales efforts with the development of tailored solutions that meet client needs and ensure successful project execution.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Provide regular reports and forecasts to the executive team on sales progress, market conditions, and performance metrics to inform key decisions and strategic planning.
- Proven track record of at least 5+ years in sales, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership position. Experience in the marketing or advertising industry is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of marketing services and trends, with the ability to communicate value propositions effectively to diverse clients.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a history of managing and motivating sales teams to exceed targets.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to adapt and innovate in a rapidly evolving industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical abilities and experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities.
