Our client in the HVAC/R industry is seeking a Mobile HVAC/R Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC/R Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting multiple clients. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in HVAC and refrigeration, as well as be multi-skilled in electrical, piping/plumbing, material handling equipment, and others in order to successfully complete daily/weekly work assignments.

Job Title: Mobile HVAC Technician

Location: Bowling Green, KY

Pay Range: $34-$36/hr

What's the Job?

  • Operate, inspect, and maintain all refrigeration, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, production equipment and systems in assigned facilities to obtain most efficient operating results and life expectancy.
  • Assure that equipment is being maintained in an energy efficient, safe manner and downtime is reduced to a minimum by anticipation of necessary repairs and keeping records of past operating experiences.
  • Perform inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, etc.
  • Strong focus on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting Refrigeration Systems and repairing facility equipment on all HVAC systems.
  • Individuals are expected to demonstrate technical expertise in HVAC and refrigeration and be multi-skilled in electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, Material Handling Equipment and others in order to successfully complete daily/weekly work assignments.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering with a strong background in the technical aspects of HVAC/R. Includes experience with diagnosing and repairs of walk-in coolers, freezers, refrigerators.
  • Basic experience with plumbing, electrical, production equipment repair and maintenance. Knowledge of overall system design and applications.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Type II EPA Certification.
  • License as required by authority having jurisdiction.
