Job Summary and Qualifications

  • Obtain quality ultrasound images of patients
  • Manage all ultrasound equipment and recognize significant diagnostic information
  • Demonstrates ability to perform all necessary computer operations
  • Render patient care in a professional and courteous manner and always identifies patients utilizing the proper protocol.
  • Prepare ultrasound machine and perform quality control tests

What qualifications you will need:

  • PREFERRED: At least 1 year of experience as a staff sonographer
  • REQUIRED: Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program or a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • REQUIRED: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer ARRT or ARDMS
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers through AHA or CPR through American Red Cross
  • PREFERRED: Registered Vascular Technologist certification
