Excel Truck Group is seeking experienced Diesel Technicians to join the 2 nd shift team in Chesapeake, VA .

If you have at least 2 years of experience as a diesel truck technician , we want to hear from you. Certifications are a plus and can earn you an increase in wages. Experience with Freightliner, Mack, Sterling, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, and/or Cummins ideal but not required. Completion of a Diesel technician school and certification desired.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

* Performs scheduled maintenance
* Ideally certified to perform State Inspections and CDL.
* Prepares shop work orders on equipment repair.
* Computer experience.
* Cleans shop and surrounding work areas.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
* Promotes cooperation and teamwork.
* Willing to train and maintain certifications necessary as ongoing technician training and development.
* Able to embrace our Elite Support & Safety Culture.
* Must have your own tools.
