Accountant - Bookkeeper
Parttime - 20 hour per week
Onsite in Doral Florida
Salary - $30- $40 per hour

Job Description
Seeking a highly motivated Accountant/Bookkeeper to join client's team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting activities, including preparing and maintaining financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP, managing day-to-day accounting tasks, and supporting year-end audits.

Responsibilities:

\tPrepare estimates and deposit invoices.
\tPrepare and maintain financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
\tManage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing.
\tUtilize QuickBooks for financial reporting, data entry, and account reconciliation.
\tAssist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
\tConduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
\tSupport year-end audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.
\tCollaborate with team members to improve processes and systems within the accounting department.
\tPrepare financial reports
\tOrganize and maintain financial records and documentation
\tIdentify and implement process improvements for bookkeeping systems and procedures.

Qualifications:

\tBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
\tMinimum of 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
\tProficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
\tStrong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
