Human Resources Manager

The HR Manager has as primary responsibilities: health and safety, recruitment (hourly and salaried), compensation (in accordance with corporate guidelines), organizational development (e.g. training), labor relation and all resulting administrative activities.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and support the culture of the company by focusing on organizational values and empowering team members
- Recruit employees for the plant (both for management positions as hourly positions);
- Participate in the Management Committee
- Follow the budgetary expenditure of the HR team
- Manage the members of the HR team (HR coordinator, recruiter, EH&S Coordinator, Training Coordinator)
- Promote the utilization and implementation of lean tools to increase the efficiency of the HR service
- Support and or lead all payroll and benefits management activities
- Support workers compensation cases
- Ensure compliance of US labor laws
- Maximize synergies between US, Canada and Mexican sites
Preferred/Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration /management or equivalent
- 7 years of experience
- Manufacturing experience - Required
- Systematic, simplifies, optimizes processes
- Well organized and good management of priorities
- Experience in a Microsoft environment
- Available for occasional travel (valid passport is required)
Nice to Have:
- SHRM Certified
- Bilingual Spanish, English
- Knowledge of IATF standard, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001;
- Experience working with foreign company
