One of our prestigious federal clients is looking for an outstanding financial quality assurance analyst to join their office on a long-term assignment. This office is responsible for performing reviews of financial transactions and activities on an ongoing basis to assess quality and consistency in the disposition of transactions, the collection and analysis of financial information, and other financial service processes as it relates to compliance with federal regulations. This role would last for at least a year and is looking to hire ASAP

Duties:

Planning and performing process and work product quality assurance audits/reviews to objectively evaluate compliance policies and procedures and to support the synthesis of findings into periodic reports to leadership.
Using transaction data extracted from financial systems and other sources, support the preparation of performance and quality metric reports.
Identifying issues and anomalies and when indicated, their root cause, through audits/reviews and/or monitoring of metrics and working with process and service owners in developing and verifying implementation of corrective actions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree
3 years of experience in financial or business analysis and reporting
5 years of relevant PC experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, and Teams)
Working knowledge and experience extracting data from office systems and software programs, including financial systems/software such as PeopleSoft, BMC Helix, and FinMart and turning it into actionable insights
3 years of experience identifying issues and anomalies and developing recommendations for possible corrective actions and process improvements
Experience calculating, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting meaningful KPI and/or metrics
3 years of experience with data visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar
Advanced quantitative and analytical skills involving large sets of data and spreadsheets containing formulas
