Overview

Fast growing luxury fashion brand is seeking a Store Manager for their retail stores located in Hinsdale, Illinois. The successful candidate is responsible for overall management of the store, staff, merchandise, and customer service. They will also be responsible for achieving sales objectives, maintaining and achieving high operational and merchandising standards and goals, building highly motivated teams and developing associates to the next level.

Responsibilities

  1. Maintain a clear and effective store organization (by support functions and product categories)
  2. Play a key role in team motivation by establishing a real team spirit and teamwork environment
  3. Monthly review of staff on One-to-One basis/Evaluate individual staff performance
  4. Retain staff by identifying and developing growth potential of individual staff members
  5. Coach and develop the team in order to maintain the highest degree of customer service
  6. Provide monthly qualitative and quantitative business reports
  7. Maintain positive relationship with members of corporate office, regional office and other stores
  8. Full Profit and Loss responsibility for the store, with particular attention given to controllable expenses and sales plan
  9. Maintain stock levels and merchandise assortment
  10. Once financial goals are agreed upon with the general manager, each store manager must maintain proper SKU levels, dollar levels and model stocks using current P.O.S. system
  11. Adhere to Grooming and Styling standards, lead by example and enforce the standards within the entire team
  12. Monitor the general appearance of the store: cleanliness, store maintenance, organization of sales area and back-of-house
  13. Create staff work schedules and ensure appropriate store coverage Manage planning of paid holidays, absences and report accordingly
  14. Continuously motivate sales staff and ensure principles & customer service are followed
  15. Drive sales to meet or exceed sales budgets Identify opportunities to and assist sales associates in fortifying client relationships through clientele
  16. Follow on a day-to-day basis the sales performance of the store Set individual monthly objectives for each member of the team
  17. Follow up on the sales performance of the sales associates Understand and explain store performance by category
  18. Keep all product support tools well organized and ensure all team members have access to the information
  19. Maintain merchandising standards in partnership with the Visual Merchandiser
  20. Supervise store personnel and enforce company policies
  21. Ensure timely submission of timesheets, verification of employee hours, etc.
  22. Recruit, assess, & interview talent and partner with Regional & HR when needed
  23. Exhibit strong interpersonal skills in dealing with staff, peers, supervisors and the other retail offices

Qualifications

  1. Proven retail management experience selling luxury fashion & accessories
  2. Experience in multi-department management preferred
  3. Proven track record of recruiting high-performing and accountable teams
  4. Management experience of large teams preferred
  5. True passion for helping people & creating a positive client experience
  6. Knowledge of high-end luxury fashion and accessories
  7. Strong organization skills, with focus on execution, problem solving and improving processes.
  8. Confident & professional verbal & written communications
  9. Ability to thrive and manage in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

Salary : Commensurate based on experience. Range up to 100k total compensation.
