Job Description: The Clinical Manager will be responsible for organizing, directing, and oversight of patients in the Cancer Services - Infusion Oncology. This position reports to the Executive Director of Oncology and collaborates with other managers, staff, and an interdisciplinary team to standardize, update and/or maintain policies and procedures to ensure consistent compliance. This position will ensure adherence to John Muir Policies and procedures and will work in collaboration with leadership and staff to recommend adjustments and updates.

Education:

  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing - Required

  • Bachelor of Science Nursing - Required

Experience:

  • 5 years Nursing - Leadership as a Charge Nurse, Supervisor or Manager Required

  • 3-7 years of Infusion Oncology Nursing experience required

Certifications/Licensures:

  • RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing - Required
  • BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required
  • ONS / ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Certificate - ONS Oncology Nursing Society Required or obtained within the first 6 months of date of hire
  • Specialty areas may have additional requirements - Required
  • Oncology Certified Nurse - Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation - Preferred
  • Specialty Certifications - ANCC American Nurses Credentialing Center - Preferred within 2 years of hire and Must be included in the list of allowed certifications by ANCC for Magnet demographics
