Spyglass is changing how data teams manage access and security at scale. Our mission is to enable data teams to simplify access for internal users while automating security tasks.
We're looking for an entrepreneurial Sales Development Representative who is eager to work closely with our founding team and contribute to our growth journey. This is a unique opportunity to join a venture-backed startup and play a key role in scaling our company.
We've raised $2.5M in pre-seed from Notation Capital, 8-Bit Capital, CoFound Partners, and V1.VC with deep team expertise in enterprise software and security.
What you'll work on
You'll be the first point of contact for prospects and a key player in driving customer growth. Your role will focus on identifying and generating new business opportunities for the team, including:
- Research companies that align with our ideal customer profile and identify potential opportunities by analyzing corporate and team initiatives, technology stack, and other relevant indicators.
- Reach out to targeted contacts via cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and other channels, with the goal of qualifying interest and booking new business meetings.
- Track and manage all prospect interactions in Salesforce ensuring information is kept accurate and up-to-date to support the smooth movement of our sales process.
- Develop and experiment with new strategies to increase market awareness of Spyglass.
- Assist the sales team by scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and ensuring timely follow-ups to help move qualified leads and opportunities through our sales process.
What You’ll Learn
Unique to this opportunity, you’ll be working alongside the CEO and have the opportunity to gain expertise in sales development and enterprise software sales process all while participating in other aspects of scaling the business. You’ll also gain technical acumen, learning about the inner workings of enterprise software and data engineering. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to break into enterprise software sales, with ambitions to grow into an Account Executive role or transition into other key business functions.

We offer competitive compensation of $90,000 on-target earnings ($65,000 base, $25,000 variable) with an uncapped incentive structure + equity.
