This role involves overseeing the psychological assessment staff within the Human Reliability Program (HRP) and providing clinical services to ensure employees are mentally fit for duty. Key responsibilities include:


Leadership and Program Oversight:

  • Provide daily direction and guidance to HRP psychological assessment staff.
  • Implement and improve HRP-related programs, policies, and practices.


Mental Health Services:

  • Deliver mental health services for employees and management.
  • Conduct psychological evaluations, clinical interviews, and testing.
  • Analyze data to assess employees’ reliability in high-security roles.


Psychological Fitness Determination:

  • Conduct clinical assessments within the general workforce to determine fitness for duty.
  • Offer expert opinions on psychological readiness for HRP participation.


Consultation and Community Liaison:

  • Advise middle and senior management on the psychological fitness of HRP candidates.
  • Engage with community mental health professionals when necessary.


Program Administration:

  • Maintain or audit program records to ensure compliance and reliability.
  • Improve HRP processes through structured evaluations and enhancements.


Required Qualifications:

  • Education: A Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA-approved program.
  • Experience: At least eight years as a practicing psychologist, with five years recent to hiring, and two years in roles related to administering or auditing HRP-like programs.
