About the Job

At our rapidly growing practice, Cardiovascular Specialists of New England, we are seeking a highly motivated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team As the Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for helping the physician deliver safe, age-appropriate patient care during procedures in Nuclear Cardiology. You will work collaboratively with the RNs and MDs to promote wellness and optimize patient outcomes and quality care. You will report directly to the Vice President of Operations.

What you’ll do:

  • Perform Nuclear stress testing, calibrations and quality control procedures.
  • Organize the nuclear stress schedule. Responsible for maintenance and ordering of nuclear equipment and supplies.
  • Produce accurate floods on cameras and diagnostic images for interpretation.
  • Participate in updating and developing all policies and procedures for nuclear cardiology testing. Participate in the orientation of new employees as needed.
  • Maintain all isotope records and properly dispose radioactive waste.
  • Participate in cleaning the area before, during and after procedures. Ensure area is safe. Report abnormal calibrations or images.
  • Assist with nuclear accreditation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Engage as needed with the Practice Leadership to help develop and modify efficiencies.

What you’ll need:

  • 1-2 years' experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Cardiac SPECT and PET is strongly preferred.
  • Graduate of a program in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registered or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Certified required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. ACLS preferred.
  • Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, and organization skills.
  • Full working knowledge of Nuclear Medicine equipment and Radiation Physics.

Work Location:

You will work out of the Manchester or Londonderry, New Hampshire office.

Additional Information:

Per Diem hourly rate of $40.00 to $58.00 per hour plus medical, dental, and vision.
