This position has two major functions: to create innovative and effective marketing strategies that grow the brand, and to lead all sales for the company. The Marketing and Sales Manager uses their entrepreneurial spirit to generate sales from Game Composites’ existing customer base as well as new clients. They use consistent and appropriate communication with customers to support them throughout the sale, build, delivery, and ownership periods.
What you will do
Key Responsibilities include:
· Marketing
- Develop near and long-term marketing strategies that support company objectives for growth.
- Turn direct and indirect marketing strategies into actionable plans that generate sales.
- Develop and administer an annual marketing budget.
- Develop event plans to show off Game Composites’ aircraft to the public.
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets; coordinate with media outlets for company features and coverage.
- Monitor competitors’ products and services; create marketing and sales strategies that support growth of Game Composites’ products.
- Create partnerships with private and public entities that support brand growth.
- Administer and maintain company’s website and social media platforms.
- Sales
- Generate, collect, and utilize potential customer lists; serve as the primary contact for all potential customers.
- Respond to and satisfactorily resolve customer inquiries.
- Lead customer experience interactions at private and public events as needed.
- Negotiate sales agreements and terms; seek approval from company leadership for non-standard, negotiated purchase terms.
- Ensure sales quotes and proposals, including terms of sales, delivery dates are completed accurately and in a timely manner; follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Record customer transaction details in company computer system.
- Analyze and interpret records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred for management.
- Coordinate or personally transport aircraft to various events, potential customers, and new owners as needed.
Experience and Qualifications required:
· 3 years of experience in a sales role.
· 3 years of experience performing marketing management.
· Exceptional communication skills that support a high performing sales role.
- Strong organizational skills. The ability to work on multiple projects and discern priority.
- Proficient in Microsoft office products such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or similar.
· Prior aerobatic flying experience.
· Prior experience in aircraft sales.
- Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
