ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Will be responsible for the coordination and execution of all entertainment offerings in accordance with all regulatory approvals.
  • Works closely with Events & Promo Manager on the execution of all events/promotions/entertainment.
  • Responsible for maintaining the Entertainment budget through awareness while planning.
  • Works with other departments and vendors to arrange for food & beverage, decorations, gifts, entertainment, and supplies for all events.
  • Accurately tracks all entertainment and prepares expenses for analysis.
  • Supervises On-Call Promotions Representatives
  • Must ensure all music licensing is up to date. 
  • Will assist in creating Virginia Gaming Control Board submissions and must execute within approved rules.
  • Maintains records, charts, and graphs of entertainment monthly.
  • Must have the ability to execute programs that deliver excitement and provide a service experience that meets department expectations.
  • Must effectively communicate all details of entertainment to the property.
  • Coordinates support from other departments to ensure entertainment execution and awareness.
  • Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with other departments.
  • Maintains security and confidentiality of files, promotional assets, records, and lists.
  • Must be very organized and able to handle many tasks at one time. 
  • Measured on the thoroughness of detail, entertainment execution, and profitability.
  • Works with purchasing to secure vendors who deliver quality goods at optimum pricing.
  • Adheres to all regulatory requirements, Va. Gaming Board, and property internal controls.
  • Develops and administers annual Group Bus plans to include; objectives, strategies, tactics, timing, and expenses.
  • Partnering with Planning and Analysis in the development and timely processing of group bus performance, development and execution of outstanding guest experience at all guest contact points.
  • Ensures appropriate inter-departmental communication of group bus activity.
  • Oversees the development and implementation of group bus packages.
  • Oversees departmental operating & capital budget.
  • Partners with Caesars Rewards staff to assure great guest experience and satisfaction in all guest interactions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in gaming, or hospitality is preferred.

  • Basic Computer skills (WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, etc.) Able to type 35 words per minute*

  • Ability to maintain composure and excellent guest relations under all circumstances. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. 
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.
  • Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule. 
  • Fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint. 
  • Must be able to handle a heavy business volume, and sensitive situations relating to team member and guest problems, in a timely manner.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage several projects, and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives.
  • Respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must have manual dexterity to operate all office equipment.
  • Must be able to recognize and respond to individuals with questions.
  • Must be able to maneuver around office and property. 
  • Must be able to work independently. 
  • Must be able to lift and carry 10 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, twist and work at a desk/counter when performing functions of the job.
