Description

The Construction Estimator will be responsible for:

  • Accurately assessing and estimating the costs associated with Multifamily or Academic Construction projects
  • Ensuring the projects are efficiently planned and executed
  • Collaborate closely with Project Management team and other key stakeholders
  • Analyze project requirements, interpret blueprints, and produce comprehensive estimates that align with client expectations and industry standards
  • Analyze project specifications and blueprints to determine project requirements and scope
  • Conduct thorough cost analysis for materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors
  • Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and quotes
  • Prepare detailed and accurate estimates
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings

Profile

The Successful Estimator will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or other related field
  • 5+ years as Construction Estimator in vertical construction or mechanical
  • Strong proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret construction documents and blueprints
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and subcontractors
  • Strong organizational skills
