Job Description
An Auburn based client is seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician to provide excellent care to patients of all ages. This is a community health center role, and only outpatient. An ideal candidate is a versatile and collaborative Physician who values providing equitable care to all populations.
Required Qualifications

* Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
* Current NY state medical license
* Completed an accredited residency program
* Current DEA certificate
* Board certified or eligible in Family Medicine
* Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

* 1-2 years of experience

Responsibilities

* Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages
* Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
* Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients on their treatment plans
* Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
* Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy
* Serve as a supervisor for nursing and mid-level provider staff
