Job Summary:
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our existing software team working on advanced autonomy software for our marine product. The candidate will lead the web UI development work and collaborate closely across all teams.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  1. Develop, test, and integrate advanced software for marine vessel autonomy.
  2. Test, debug, and maintain reliable, safe, and production quality code.
  3. Maintain software documentation and assist in the development of user documentation.
  4. Participate in field testing & trials.
  5. Work closely with customer support team and resolve customer issues.
  6. Participate in daily scrum meetings.
  7. Work cross-functionally with technical teams to execute functional testing, system integration verification, and performance validation on new products in automated simulation and in vessel trials.
Qualifications and Skills:
  1. BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or related engineering field.
  2. 4+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on both frontend (React) and backend (Postgres/MySQL) technologies.
  3. Experience with UI Mobile App Development.
  4. Experience developing with Docker containers.
  5. Familiarity with Shell Scripts in UNIX/Linux environment.
  6. Experienced in full software life cycle development.
  7. Experience with software version control (Bitbucket preferred).
  8. Understanding of Agile SW Development Methodology.
  9. Understanding of computer architecture.
  10. Experience collaborating with other functional teams to seamlessly integrate software and hardware systems.
  11. Good communication skills (verbal and written), ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and convincingly.
  12. Comfortable with a fast-paced development schedule.
  13. Experience CI/CD practices (IoT device deployment a plus).
  14. Experience with MOOS-IvP a plus but not required.
