Job Description:
This job is responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Key responsibilities include developing a technology strategy, ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable standards, promoting design, engineering, and organizational practices, and advocating and advancing modern, Agile solution delivery practices. Job expectations may include coaching, mentoring, providing feedback and hands on career development, identifying emerging talent, fostering leadership skills, and managing stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Builds and manages teams by performing financial activities to inform workforce strategy and hiring practices, setting and tracking maturity and quality objectives, and training employees/teams to address feedback and achieve quality and performance objectives.
- Facilitates performance and career development of employees/teams through performance reviews, coaching, and creating development plans that are needed to build competencies and skills.
- Manages solution delivery and application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews), ensuring all relevant risk, financial, and compliance policies are met.
- Manages relationships with business and technology partners and leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization.
- Contributes to the technology strategy for their technical domain.
- Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers.
- Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with product management and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading a team that is enhancing, configuring, maintaining, and expanding the capabilities of applications and vendor products that support specific Chief Administrative Office functions.
- Understand all solution components, how they inter-operate to support global business processes, and has strong, demonstrated delivery skills.
- Strong vendor relationship management skills including contract negotiations.
- Liaison between the vendors, the business, and technology.
- Accountable for system enhancements, including new functionality rollouts and modifications of existing functionality, and coordinates and performs in-depth tests, including test documentation and post-implementation support.
- Understands Bank of America information security and risk processes and ensures that processes and procedures adhere to defined audit and internal controls. Ensure actions needed are taken with urgency and meet defined delivery timelines.
- Manage new project/enhancement requests from initiation through post implementation support including configuration.
- Serve as a catalyst for leveraging system functionality into business process improvements across the global Chief Administrative Office (CAO) functions.
- Ensure global alignment and consistency while effectively balancing global, regional, and local needs.
- Understand and enforce the overall solution architecture and proactively identify and address interdependencies across applications and work streams.
- Develop relationships with CAO and other project stakeholders to become a trusted advisor and hold accountable for supporting sustained delivery of value.
- Preserve overall system health; regularly engage with CAO Operations, Technology Operations and the business to understand operational challenges and aid in root cause problem resolution.
- Monitor health of module and drive continuous process improvements leveraging a clear understanding of local requirements (i.e. regulatory changes) and how they would impact the system.
- Oversee the transformation of delivery practices to align with scaled-agile methodology.

- Experience managing technical resources and technical projects.
- Well-developed leadership and technical project delivery capabilities with demonstrated success completing multiple cross-functional, cross-business, and cross-cultural projects.
- Proven ability to effectively manage time and prioritize work in order to meet established deadlines.
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong working knowledge of problem solving, root cause analysis, and associated solution implementation.
- Excellent executive-level verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to breakdown high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and ability to distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
- Ability to drive and challenge business on their assumptions.
- Track record of being the go-to person for designing functional and technical system solutions to solve business problems.
- Proven ability to deal with and resolve ambiguity and to manage conflict.
- Self-starter with proven ability to anticipate problems and take proactive, decisive action, giving regard to the impact on the system, business needs and user population.
- Solid understanding of SCRUM/SAFE Agile methodology.
- Familiar with Bank of America policies/processes, data privacy and other regulatory requirements.
- Minimum of 10 years implementation and support experience with technology systems.
