Job Title: Lead Site Reliability Engineer
Job Description: At Philips Cardiologs, our mission is to make tomorrow’s medical diagnosis efficient and accessible to everyone, anywhere, anytime. We leverage machine learning (AI) and cloud computing technologies to fulfill this vision. Our first product is a SaaS application to help physicians diagnose cardiac diseases, already deployed worldwide.

But most importantly, we believe that a good atmosphere at work makes people more efficient in what they are best at
What you’ll doWe are looking for an AWS Expert to strengthen our Engineering Team. Indeed, you will work on our backend modernization, helping us to go from a RoR monolith to a microservices architecture.
You’ll provide your expertise on cloud architecture, challenging our propositions to provide the best client experience on Philips Cardiologs’ products which are used to streamline the diagnosis of several thousands of patients daily, across four continents. You will also dive deep into technical topics related to high availability, performance monitoring and improvements, or security.
You're the right fit if:- You’ve worked on microservices architecture.
- You have more than 7 years of experience on AWS Cloud solution.
- You master Terraform.
- You master Kubernetes.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, and have at least basic notions in French.
- You’re result oriented. You’re a problem solver and a driving force. You’re a team player.
- You're pragmatic: you're able to define what would be the best technical practice or implementation by taking the business and team needs into account.
- Knowledge sharing matters to you, and you’re able to coach and mentor others to help them reach their potential.
- Experience with Ruby On Rails.
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- You pay attention to cost optimization; FinOps rings a bell to you.
- You have previous experience and/or a strong interest in developing healthcare products.
We are a health technology company. We built our entire company around the belief that every human matters, and we won't stop until everybody everywhere has access to the quality healthcare that we all deserve. Do the work of your life to help the lives of others.
• Learn more about our commitment to diversity and inclusion.
If you’re interested in this role and have many, but not all, of the experiences needed, we encourage you to apply. You may still be the right candidate for this or other opportunities at Philips.
