We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Atlas Business Development team as a Pricing Data Analyst The Pricing Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving pricing strategies and optimizing revenue generation for Atlas. This role will be responsible for leveraging advanced statistical methods and predictive modeling techniques to uncover pricing trends and market dynamics, while ensuring data integrity across systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to uncover insights into pricing trends, customer behavior, and market dynamics.
  • Utilize statistical methods and predictive modeling techniques to identify opportunities for pricing optimization.
  • Monitor industry trends, market competition, and economic indicators to anticipate changes in pricing dynamics.
  • Develop comprehensive pricing analyses and rate structures to support Atlas pricing initiatives and response effectively to RFQs and other business inquiries. Present findings and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making processes.
  • Utilize SQL scripts and queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources for pricing analysis.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across different databases and systems.
  • Develop key performance indicators and metrics to measure the effectiveness of pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including van line operations, logistics, and agents, to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for leveraging data analytics.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in pricing analysis, data analytics, or related roles, and/or equivalent combination of both education and experience are required.
  • Proficient in SQL and experience with writing complex queries for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct in-depth data analysis, uncover insights, and present findings to senior management.
  • Strong understanding of market trends, pricing strategies, and competitive analysis.
