SR. SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Job Summary: The Senior Fullstack Software Engineer will work closely with the Fullstack Software Engineering team members to design, develop and enhance web and data solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Influence and collaborate with business systems analysts and internal business users to develop solutions based on requirements.
  2. Expert ability to design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and robust code while using source control to manage code across all environments.
  3. Write code at all tiers from persistence to middle tier to frontend.
  4. Troubleshoot, analyze and debug application issues.
  5. Optimize and refactor existing code to increase responsiveness, performance, and maintainability.
  6. Ensure that the architectures and standards are being followed by influencing and participating in code reviews and quality assurance processes.
  7. Adhere to and enforce ODS policies and procedures.
  8. Adhere to and enforce coding standards and best practices.
  9. Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical application architectures.
  10. Take ownership of solving complex business problems for the client.
  11. Innovate and share findings with other Seniors and Leads.
  12. Implement new architectural changes for client systems.
  13. Promote and encourage a healthy team/collaborative environment.
  14. Evaluate work of other Fullstack Software Engineers.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science preferred. Other majors accepted for review include Engineering majors with a programming background.
  2. Demonstrated experience of high-quality delivery in a Software Engineering role for the full development lifecycle across several high complexity projects.
  3. Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical application architectures.
  4. Demonstrated Expertise in:
    1. Python (Flask, Django, SQL Alchemy)
    2. Web Services (JSON, Micro Services)
    3. Vue.js (Single Page App Javascript framework like React or Angular acceptable)
    4. Bootstrap
    5. Relational Database Technologies
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Expert ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
  8. Expert in Object Oriented Analysis and Design.
  9. Expert ability to read and create high-performance SQL queries.
  10. Expert ability in unit testing/test-driven development.
  11. Expert ability to develop in MVC-based frameworks in C# or Python.
  12. Expert ability to develop in frontend technologies (React, Angular, and Vue).
  13. Experience building or utilizing REST APIs.
  14. Strong knowledge and experience of web accessibility.
  15. Good understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser issues.
  16. Comfort with Relational Database, ANSI SQL, Database Performance tuning, and various file formats.
