Experience:

• 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Minnesota license in hand at the time of application.

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Candidates must live at least 80 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.

• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Rotating weekends with staff.

It usually is about 2-3 weeks staff shift.

Willing to take straight post partum (will still need to assist in the special care nursery and pull to MS if needed - per union rules) for this opening Also willing to do straight nights

MN license is taking a minimum of 6 weeks to get, so prefer someone with the MN state RN license or has begun the process already. Please list date applied if they do not have it, but have applied already.

Willing to float to other units - ie: Tele, MS in the event it is needed

Float in rotation with MNA nurses. Labor, PP, Nursery and PEDS. May also need to assist in Med Surg if asked. Will not be frequent and may just sit/assist in MS unit.

Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: 1/3 mom/baby couplets, 1/5 GYN/Med-Surge patients, 1/3-4 pediatrics

Dress Code: Navy scrubs
