We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and enthusiastic individual to help us with this mission

The Talent Acquisition Specialist oversees recruiting and placement activities for our 4 facilities across Massachusetts. This is a hands-on recruiting role that requires a strong sense of urgency and meticulous attention to detail to fill open positions and develop talent pipelines for future staffing needs. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage the entire recruitment cycle. They will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates to meet the staffing needs of PPLM. They will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Candidate Sourcing and Recruitment:
    1. Proactively source and recruit candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
    2. Screen resumes, conduct phone screenings, and interview candidates to assess qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
    3. Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and stakeholders, providing guidance and support throughout the interview process.
  2. Talent Pipeline Management:
    1. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs within the defined geography.
    2. Develop and nurture relationships with passive candidates and industry professionals to expand the talent network.
  3. Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing:
    1. Represent PPLM as an employer of choice by promoting our company culture, values, and career opportunities.
    2. Develop and implement recruitment marketing strategies to attract and engage candidates, including job postings, social media, employer branding initiatives, and participation in external events (i.e. Career Fairs).
  4. Candidate Experience and Onboarding:
    1. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.
    2. Provide timely and transparent communication to candidates regarding their application status, interview feedback, and next steps.
    3. Collaborate with hiring managers, HR colleagues and Department Heads to facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
  5. Data Management:
    1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment data in the applicant tracking system (ATS), including candidate profiles, interview feedback, and hiring metrics.
    2. Other tasks and responsibilities as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, with a focus on healthcare and/or mission driven work preferred.
  • Strong sourcing and networking skills, with the ability to identify and engage passive candidates.
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practices, including sourcing strategies, candidate assessment techniques, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software; Lever & ADP WFN a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to work as part of a team, develop and follow-through on ideas, and lead staff.
  • Ability to relate to individuals of varying backgrounds and ages in a non-judgmental yet empathetic manner.
