Position Title: Senior Manager, Strategic Planning and Analytics

Location – Irvine, CA

Reports to: VP, Sales Operations

Compensation: 160 – 190K with annual bonus

AVITA Medical is a regenerative medicine company leading the development and commercialization of devices and autologous cellular therapies for skin restoration. Our FDA-approved RECELL System technology platform treats patients with thermal burn wounds and full-thickness skin defects and is used for re-pigmentation of stable depigmented vitiligo lesions by harnessing the regenerative properties of a patient’s own skin to create Spray-On Skin cells.

Position Summary

Maximize Avita Medical’s commercial capabilities through both upstream and downstream strategic planning, global corporate and field forecasting, marketing research, reporting and analyzing all aspects of Avita’s commercial initiatives. Provide guidance to commercial leadership focused on optimizing future market entries based on analytics and planning, go to market strategies, operational models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of global strategic planning and forecasting
  • Provide guidance to commercial leadership in product value proposition, strategy development, pricing models to reach revenue goals while maximizing ROI for our target market and customers.
  • Develop key performance metrics and dashboards designed to help marketing and sales leadership focus on performance drivers.
  • Builds long range and short-term forecasts based on strong market knowledge and deep understanding of account performance expectations and historical behaviors.
  • Develops and oversees analytics strategy to drive data-driven decision making across marketing, sales, and finance.
  • Work with commercial leadership and finance to track performance vs goals.
  • Builds BOD analytics and delivers performance update decks for MBRs, QBRs.
  • Collaborate with senior marketing leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement. Facilitates successful implementation of new programs by ensuring the presence of well-defined, efficient processes during launch.
  • Promotes a culture of continuous process improvement through use of best-in-class technology and maximized automated processes.
  • Submit timely and accurate administration management reporting as defined.
  • Attend all company sponsored sales and medical meetings as directed by company management (POAs, National Sales Meetings, Regional and Local Conventions, etc.).
  • Participate, support, and contribute to the ongoing training of commercial representatives through programs and initiatives to improve sales effectiveness.
  • A liaison between sales and marketing, providing voice of cust0omer feedback to support marketing programs and services.
  • Pursue continuous learning and professional development on efficient sales operations, communication, and product knowledge raining to maintain in-depth knowledge of the market.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (any major) from an accredited college or university is required
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Continuously work to improve own performance by pursuing opportunities for learning and getting feedback on own performance.
  • Able to listen effectively and communicate in formal and informal settings using written and verbal methods.

  • Plan and carry out tasks without detailed instructions and prepare for problems or opportunities in advance by taking ownership of situations and being proactive in approach.
