YOUR DAY AS A SENIOR OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

As a Senior Operations Specialist at One Community Bank, you will play a crucial role in supporting both our clients and colleagues in managing deposit account transactions. You'll collaborate with the Operations Department to handle monetary and non-monetary transaction activity, ensuring accuracy and compliance with banking regulations. Your daily responsibilities will include processing incoming wires, performing callback verifications, managing ACH reconciliations, and handling various account maintenance tasks. You will also contribute to data integrity by accurately managing client account changes and processing documentation for audit requests. This position not only allows you to develop a comprehensive understanding of our operations but also emphasizes teamwork as you cross-train and support fellow specialists.

To excel as a Senior Operations Specialist at One Community Bank, you should possess a strong foundation of banking experience, with a minimum of three years in a relevant role. Your expertise in operations is essential, along with a thorough understanding of the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the financial services industry. Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail will be key in managing transaction activities accurately.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent client service and communication skills are vital for fostering positive relationships both internally and externally. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while promoting a collaborative team atmosphere will set you apart. Additionally, holding certifications such as AAP, APRP, or NCP will enhance your qualifications, showcasing your commitment to professionalism and ongoing development within the banking sector.
