Responsibilities:

  • Calculate job estimates and create proposal documents and presentations for the client.
  • Assess and address any potential issues related to the field or design in collaboration with the Project Superintendent, General Superintendent, and Project Engineer.
  • Finalize the project buyout within two weeks following the contract award.
  • Regularly create and update the project schedule.
  • Review plans and specifications to deliver clear and accurate interpretations of designs and drawings for construction.
  • Identify, investigate, and propose solutions to design-related challenges; maintain effective communication with the field superintendent.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with construction management software.
  • Working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings, specifications, and building materials.
  • Proficiency in the department's computer system and necessary software; typing skills required.
  • 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to take responsibility.
  • Ability to assume responsibility and interface effectively with others.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • OSHA Certification.
  • First Aid Certification.

Education

  • 4-year degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent technical training.
  • Minimum of 5 years of construction experience in a supervisory or management position.
Desired Skills and Experience

Looking for a Project Manager with a 4-year degree in Construction Management or Construction Engineering, plus OSHA certification. Must have a minimum of 5 years of construction experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
