Position Purpose:

The Mental Health Aide will provide therapeutic support and milieu maintenance with children and adolescents in a Child Crisis Residential (CIRCA) setting. You will conduct socialization activities, assist with day-to-day personal care needs of consumers, provide crisis prevention interventions, and provide individual interventions including case management support.

What you will do:

Manage consumer urgencies and emergencies with appropriate follow-up

Complete progress notes each scheduled shift by policy and procedure

Maintain medical record documentation according to organization policies and procedures

Review the mental health history of all consumers through the clinical documentation

Work with consumers to develop a comprehensive treatment plan

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Social/Human Services field OR High School Diploma/Equivalent and 1 year of direct care experience

Must be 21+ years of age

Valid Driver’s license and ability to operate an organization vehicle

Pre-employment drug screen, physical and tb, Act 33/34/73 clearances
