The Bon Secours Psychiatry and Behavioral Health team is adding a Behavioral Health / Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner to the team at Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA - Part of the "757" Coastal Hampton Roads/Tidewater Region

* Virginia License Required - Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certified
* Requires minimum of 2 Years of INPATIENT NP Behavioral Health Practice experience
* Full time position - M-F - 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
* Inpatient Adult Psychiatry providing coverage for behavioral health units, consults on medical floors, review of admissions from the ED and external hospitals or providers.
* Call coverage:

* 1:5 Weekend Rounding (1 weekend every 5 weeks) 4:00 PM Fri - 8:00 AM Mon.
* 1 to 2 week nights per week 4:00 PM - 8:00 AM
* Both include cross coverage from units and admission calls

* Practice Support: 1:8 - One RN to every 8 patients and 1:6 - One Behavioral Health tech to every 6 patients
* Great Support and Resources for you and your patients - LCSW, LPC, BSW, Art Therapist, Music Therapist, Recreation Therapist, RN Clinical Coordinators and Nurse Manager.
* Average 8-12 patients per day
* Patient ages - 18+ and approx. 70% adult, 30% geriatric
* Opportunity to mentor NP and PA students
* Mentorship available by Medical Director

Bon Secours Mercy Health offers an attractive compensation package which includes a base compensation and multiple opportunities for bonus. Up to $5,000 Relocation reimbursement - $3,000 CME allowance annually - 32 days ATO - Full and comprehensive benefits including life insurance, company-paid short/long term disability, up to 8 weeks paid-parental time off, medical/dental/vision/Rx/FSA/403b plus matching %.
