The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the whole picture. This role must be able to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships inside and outside the group.

The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Management of complex calendar and scheduling to support teams in multiple locations.
  2. Schedule cost effective travel itineraries which create smooth transitions between time zones. Coordinate with in-house travel agents and manage international travel process.
  3. Create and submit expense reports in a timely fashion.
  4. Managing engagement scheduling, tracking, and debriefs.
  5. Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items.
  6. Collaborate across the Marketing EA team to ensure the effective prioritisation and completion of activities.
  7. Partner with leaders to understand their priorities and build processes to make their organizations happier and more effective.
  8. Help to create an environment that is positive and fun to work in.
  9. Learn and be curious about the organization in order to improve effectiveness.

A day in the life
As an Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for a wide range of critical activities including complex calendar management, tracking key deliverables, coordinating travel and expenses, and organizing team activities and events (such as all–hands meetings and employee engagement activities). Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinating meeting agendas, space planning, and ad hoc project coordination. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to act as an extension of our leaders in partnership with a supportive and collaborative EA community.
